About AAA Counseling & Consulting Services
AAA Counseling & Consulting Services provides quality care to youth, adults, and families in New Jersey. Our clinicians work with clients experiencing emotional, developmental and behavioral health issues. We also serve immigrant youth and families experiencing issues with acclimation and acculturation. At AAA Counseling & Consulting Services, we recognize that every client’s and family’s history, customs, and beliefs are unique, and contextualize their treatment needs as such. With services that are evidence-based, strength-based, culturally responsive, and family-centered, we strive to build stable home environments and help our clients unlock their fullest potential.
Our clinicians are licensed professionals who understand that unexpected and overwhelming life experiences can cause emotional turmoil. We use a trauma-informed lens, which recognizes that certain behavioral and emotional responses can arise from past experiences or difficult family contexts. Our clinicians also use the Nurtured Heart Approach to help guide and positively reinforce constructive behaviors. At AAA Counseling & Consulting Services we think about unlocking potential as a holistic process of which mental health is a key part. In accordance with that philosophy, AAA Counseling & Consulting Services proudly uses the NJ Wraparound approach to cooperate with other medical care providers, agencies, and social services.
We provide Intensive In-Community (IIC) services as well as outpatient services. IIC sessions are conducted in the home or at a community-based location and are scheduled to accommodate the youth and family’s lifestyle. Our outpatient services take place at our local office. Although our services are short term, we understand that the road to building better mental health and strengthening family relationships requires vulnerability, trust, and persistence. Our clinicians work with compassion and patience to offer solution-focused care that centers our clients’ voices at every step.
